Swarna by Ega Anargya

Swarna (2025) by Ega Anargya (b. 2004) is a jewelry collection that explores renewal through sustainable design. Drawing from the subtle elegance inherent in fungi’s natural form, each piece reimagines discarded brass into graceful forms that flow gently over the skin.
Created as part of an undergraduate studio at the Bandung Institute of Technology, Swarna embraces upcycling not only as a method but as a philosophy—reviving forgotten materials into forms that honor life, change, and continuity.

The pieces feature asymmetrical, flowing structures that echo the adaptive growth of mycelium networks, rejecting mechanical symmetry to honor the imperfect beauty of nature and how it lives through the wearer.

The collection consists of one necklace and one bangle, designed as a harmonious pair that wraps across the body’s contours. Developed in collaboration with Mycl and supported by Medividi, who provided reclaimed brass and mentorship in sustainable craftsmanship, Swarna offers a quiet reflection on circularity, care, and what we choose to preserve.
