Hapsari Jewelry by Nasya Alifah

Hapsara jewelry collection features a necklace, earrings, and bracelet set designed for women, inspired by the intricate dendritic patterns found in natural stones. These patterns resemble delicate tree branches, reflecting the Greek origin of the word dendrite, meaning “tree.” The collection draws from the themes of the Indonesia Trend Forecast 2021/2022, blending natural elegance with contemporary fashion trends.

Dendritic stones are formed through slow geological processes, resulting in unique and highly valued patterns that are limited in color, shape, and form. Because these stones are rare and costly, their natural beauty is difficult to reproduce or adapt for broader design use. This inspired me to explore ceramic as a more versatile medium to reinterpret dendritic visuals.

Using bone china clay and the mocha diffusion technique, I was able to replicate the fine branching patterns typical of dendritic stones, with greater control over color, shape, and design.

To complete the pieces, the supporting metal components—including the bezels that hold each ceramic element—were expertly crafted by Medividi, ensuring both durability and a refined finish.
